1950 - 1956 Tortoise 400s

The Pelikan 400 is perhaps the most lovely of the 1950s era pens. The tortoise barrel bands are no two alike and range from light to dark with various brown and red highlights. They are always popular and often hard to keep in stock. When you see them listed, jump! But always inquire.

PE3824: 1950 Pelikan 400 in tortoise. An early pen with the turning knob marked F. The plain script 14 K nib is also a Fine that flexes to Broad with moderate to firm pressure. $305

PE3826: 1952 Pelikan 400 in tortoise. An early pen. The logo style14 K nib is an EF that flexes to Medium with moderate to firm pressure. $305.
