1935 Pelikan 110 in white gold fill. This was the first luxury pen made by the company and this is a fine example. Usuallyt the gold fill shows a great deal of wear. This one does not. There are a few minor dingson the cap and one 3 mm crease, all of which could be removed. Overall I would rate the pen as 8/10 ths. The pen has been rebodied with a light yellow replica, undistinguishable from the original and much more durable. The nib is a moderately flexible (EF/M) plain script 585 14 Karat EF (others are, of course) possible. I have sold these pens in comparable condition for as much as $2,500, this one is significantly less at $1,700. |
