PE3688: 1954 Pelikan 500 in seagreen stripe with gold filled cap. The best way to describe this pen is as extraordinary, but with issues. The seagreen 500 is the least common variant of this model except for the m-o-p. In excellent condition it would be twice the price. So, what’s the deal? Overall the pen shows wear that is reasonably apparent in the images. In addition there is a raised area on the barrel. I’m not sure what it is, but it does not affect the integrity of the pen and is not readily apparent. For this reason the pen has a lifetime guarantee. If there is ever an issue, you are covered. All this for one low price. $500.
