1956 Pelikan 400N in green stripe.  This is another uncommon pen. After five years of wildly successful production, Pelikan felt the need to redesign the 400, but in the German manner not by too much. With its slightly more rounded turning knob and tapered elongated cap the 400N was too subtle to be recognizeable as new. Pelikan produced this handsome pen for just eleven months before offering the 400NN. This is a good, clean example with a smooth, fast KF nib. $425.00
