1938 Pelikan 111, 14 K solid gold barrel band. This is certainly one of the iconic early Pelikans, elegant and essential to any Pelikan collection and probably the most difficult of the early "heavy metal" Pelikans to find. This is one is in exquisite fully restored condition, but the binde shows quite a bit of use, careful use, but use so that the guilloche work is there, but worn. The nib is a plain script 14 K 585 fine with extraordinary flex. |
