1938 Pelikan 100

PE2413: 1938 Pelikan 100 with blue striped binde. These pens are not only uncommon but uncommonly beautiful and of the three variants, the blue is my personal favorite. The binde on this is a very rich dark blue, the cap and mechanism are late hard rubber, dark and shiny. The yellow nitrocelluloid barrel is sound and clear. The Fine nib is plain script, 585 14 Karat and is uncommonly flexible. SOLD

PE2559: 1939 Pelikan 100 in black celluloid with blue binde and green ink window. This one is definitely user grade. There are three small cracks on the binde which I have repaired and partially refinished, I will complete the refinish on request. Right now the pen is more than presentable. Befitting its status as a user I have fitted the pen with a superbly flexible medium nib and all sorts of other nibs are possible. As the listing shows, the last pen went for much more money. $1200.00 SOLD
