Mid Winter Sport Madness

Over the last few months quite a few vintage Kaweco Sports have come our way from a wide variety of sources. It is time to move them out! Please note that except where noted, these are piston filled pens and very different from the modern cartridge filled Kaweco Sports which tend to be cute novelty items, though good pens in their own right.

1970s Kaweco Sport V16 Smooth Black.

OT3810: Excellent condition with a 14 Carat EF nib SOLD

OT3879: Excellent condition with a broad gold plated steel nib

OT3880: Excellent condition with a BB steel nib

OT3881: Excellent condition with a gold plated EF nib

OT3882: Excellent condition with a gold plated EF nib

OT3883:Good condition with a minor caplip crack gold plated Fine nib. $95

OT3812: 1970s Kaweco Sport set. As far as I can tell this set is mint-in-the-box, unused and complete. It includes a fountain pen with a Fine gold plated steel nib and ballpoint. $265.

OT3811: 1970s Kaweco Sport set. From 1972 Munich Olympics, as indicated on the medallion. A used set in excellent condition in a black leather pouch. 14 Carat Fine nib. $225.

OT3884: 1970s Kaweco Sport set. From 1972 Munich Olympics, as indicated on the medallion. A very uncommon burgundy color. Used set in excellent condition in a burgundy leather pouch. 14 Carat Fine nib. $250.

OT3937: 1930s Kaweco Sport safety pen in Black Chased hard rubber. These are really uncommon. I spent fifteen years searching for my first one, which I offer here with a Kaweco 14 Karat stub nib. It comes to you in the pouch. This one, though fully useable, is really special. $350.

OT3936: New Old Stock 1970s Kaweco Sport set in black acrylic in pouch. V16 N pen with a steel KF nib. The other piece is a ballpoint. Again, this set is new and factory original, but without packaging beyond the pouch. I’m betting you will not find anything comparable. $295.

OT3938: 1970s New Old Stock Kaweco Sport cartridge filling pen in black acrylic. According to the new owner of the Kaweco brand from whom these pens came, it is not clear if these were ever marketed. Suffice to say that they are uncommon. This does not bear a model imprint, but the steel gold-plated nib looks to be a Fine. Comes in a non-imprinted, but original pouch. Own a piece of Kaweco history. $275.

OT3939:1970s New Old Stock Kaweco Sport in green. Of the three colors offered (black, red and green, I believe that green is the least common. V16N with a gold-plated steel OBB and a green pouch. $275.

OT3940:1970s New Old Stock Kaweco Sport in burgundy. V16N with a gold-plated steel OBB and a red pouch. $275.
