1910s Conklin Slip Cap Crescent "S"

1910s Conklin slip cap crescent "S" 4 in red mottled hard rubber. An early pen in extraordinary condition with good color and shine, good imprints. The #4 nib will, likely, need retipping as the iridium on one tine is compromised, but is so superbly flexible that I decided not to swap it out. I can do so on request. Flexible fine nib.

Note: It was called to my attention recently that even though the cap for this pen matches the barrel perfectly, the cap is from a Moore Safety, and sure enough the patent date on the cap and the pin inside (which I have not removed) mark the cap as a Moor. So I am selling this as either really good parts or a nice mismatch.
