1958 Montblanc 149. One of the greatest post-World War II pens is the early Montblanc 149. It is almost entirely different from the modern version, in celluloid with the silver bands. This example is from the mid-1950s, slightly larger than the early postwar model, and with the rounded feed but still with the three stage metal filler and a superb, lush broad nib. The top silver band is slightly loose, as is so often the case with these. |
