1955 Pelikan 500. Tortoise barrels with gold filled cap. I think this is the most beautiful of the post war Pelikans. The tortoise barrel and gold cap seem meant for each other. In truth, this pen is a bit rough, with minor dents and dings to the cap, but no brassing. Otherwise good and fully functioning. Would make a great everyday user. Fine, moderately flexible nib. JN2 |
