Description: | |||
1930 Pelikan (pre 100 model designation). This is a superb example of an early and uncommon pen. No flaws, no discoloration. Certainly a cornerstone of any collection of early Pelikans. Probably a bit too clean to use much, though black is nice to use as you do not have to worry about discoloration. The nib is a medium, and that is somewhat negotiable. PE1440 PE1553: late 1930 Pelikan pen, with the cylindrical captop, double vented cap and straight section. This pen is extraordinarily clean, the color of the hard rubber is perfect, captop imprints show a bit of wear, the ink window is clear and light. The nib is a medium. |
