Description: | |||
1936 Red hard rubber and tortoise Pelican 100/200 set. This set is good news, excellent news, and less good news. The good news is that I am able to offer it. The excellent news is that the set is stamped, both pieces, "Pelican," with a "c", indicating UK and British Empire market. The less good news is that the hard rubber on the pen is severely worn, somewhat discolored, and the top cap ring on the pen is loose. The pencil is in better shape, but has an extra celluloid ring under the Binde. Were this set in better condition, it would have stayed with me; as it is I had to decide. The nib is a 14K medium, some choice available. Yours for Note: The images make the pen appear more discolored than it is.
