OT1730, a 1948 Mont Blanc 139. What to say? This is a superb late 139, all in celluloid with the short ink window and in extremely good condition, showing little wear. The caplip may have been sleeved at some point, but if so the repair is all but invisible to any but the closest inspection. I'm not sure. The nib is a correct medium oblique with superb flex. The filler works well and is newly corked, but will need service down the road, the third stage retraction is sporadic. The price reflects both the pen's fine overall condition and its relatively minor issues. $2800.00
