1950s(?) Greif Gold. Smooth black celluloid with a green marbled band surrounding the cap band. This one almost stayed with me, but it is a bit too slender for my "Oversize Germans" collection. Still an interesting and unusually styled German pen from a maker I did not know about before this summer's German trip. It is a button filler, along the lines of Parker, and has a large (6)14 karat fine nib with a griffin symbol and a bit of flex. OT1024 |
